New & Improved Series

Very Young People's Concerts - Ages 3-5
New this year! Designed for families with pre-schoolers, these three Sunday afternoon concerts introduce youngsters to classical music through games, active listening and hands-on music-making with members of the New York Philharmonic.

Young People's Concerts - Ages 6-12
A New York tradition! Over four stimulating Saturday afternoon concerts, we look at the people who bring music to life--the composer, the conductor, the musician and the audience. Preceded by Kidzone Live!, an interactive music fair.

Inside the Music
Composer, humorist, and radio personality Peter Schickele (P.D.Q. Bach, Schickele Mix) gives you the inside story on some of music's greatest masterpieces, helping you enjoy them as you never have before. Then sit back for a rapturous Philharmonic performance, followed by a Q&A with Schickele and special guests.

Hear & Now
In these fascinating evenings hosted by Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Steven Stucky, three of today’s leading composers—John Corigliano, Peter Lieberson and John Harbison—introduce you to their latest works. A Q&A; follows the Philharmonic performance to close out these engaging evenings.
