The
Tasso House Bed & Breakfast is located in the very hystoric centre
of Sorrento, at only 100 mt. from Corso Italia, one of the main road
of the town, studded with typical shops of local handicraft and boutique.
It is close to the ancient seafaring village of Marina Grande and to
the town cathedral. At a short walk from the bus and train stations.
Very easy to get to the port, from where you can leave to Capri and
Ischia islands and to the Amalfitana Coast. The Tasso House can put
at your disposal three rooms in a spacious apartment at the third floor
of a recently restored building; all the rooms are well-lighted and
roomy, with the comforts you need and with a view on the sea or on the
hystoric centre. The building is close to the famous sorrentina villa
of the Fasulo, once Sersale, where the poet Torquato Tasso and his sister
Cornelia were born, in the 1400. And in this building (with independent
entry) the Tasso House has an apartment with two bedrooms, living room
and bath.
