Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
If you don't find the answer to your question in this list of FAQs, visit the Customer Service section of harrahs.com and caesars.com to email us your questions.

  1. Have Caesars and Harrah's merged yet?
Yes, Caesars and Harrah's have merged. By bringing together the best-known brands in gaming, we have created a winning combination that opens the door to unprecedented opportunities for our customers. And we're working to combine the best of the Connection and Total Rewards programs into one, stunningly powerful player card. By Spring 2006, Total Rewards will be available at all Bally's, Caesars, Flamingo, Grand, Harrah's, Harveys, Horseshoe, Paris, Rio and Showboat casinos.

  2. Which domestic casino/hotels are included in the merger?
Please click here to see the complete list of our casinos.

  3. Can I use my Connection Card and comps at Harrah's or the Horseshoe?
Currently, both reward programs are separate, but we plan to have a combined rewards program in 2006. You can sign up for a free Total Rewards or Winners Circle card during your next visit to one of our casinos. Learn more about Harrah's Total Rewards or Horseshoe's Winner Circle.

  4. Will my Connection Card be converted to a Total Rewards card?
We're working to combine existing Connection rewards into Total Rewards. If you have a Connection Card, your rewards will be combined into your Total Rewards account based on the Caesars casino where earned. We will be converting Connection accounts into Total Rewards on or around the following dates:

Las Vegas Mid South Atlantic City

    Flamingo Las Vegas
    12/6/05

    Bally's Las Vegas
    1/17/06

    Paris Las Vegas
    1/17/06

    Caesars Palace
    2/14/06
    Caesars Indiana
    3/7/06

    Grand Tunica
    3/21/06

    Sheraton Tunica
    4/4/06

    Bally's Atlantic City
    2/7/06

    Caesars Atlantic City
    2/28/06

Once the conversion is complete, you'll need to use your new Total Rewards card at that casino. But hang on to your Connection Card because you'll need it when visiting Caesars casinos that haven't been converted yet.

  5. Will the credits/comps and play/ratings from my Total Rewards card and my Connection Card be combined?
Yes. Based on the casino where earned, any outstanding Connection Comp dollars will be converted into Reward Credits. $1 in Connection Comps is equal to 100 Reward Credits. For example, if your Connection Comp balance was $100, and $50 was earned at Flamingo Las Vegas and $50 was earned at Bally's Las Vegas, $50 will be converted into 5,000 Reward Credits on the Flamingo Las Vegas conversion date. The remainder of your balance is available to you at any non-converted Caesars property.

  6. What will happen to my Connection Cash?
Based on the casino location, the manner in which Connection Cash will be converted and delivered to you will vary.

  7. What will happen to my Connection Cash in Las Vegas?
Connection members will receive outstanding Connection Cash value in the mail. If you earned Connection Cash in Las Vegas, you will be sent a cash coupon for the value generated at each casino. For example, if your connection Cash balance was $40, and $20 was earned at Caesars Palace and the other $20 was earned at Flamingo, you will receive a cash coupon for $20 within days of the Flamingo conversion. Then a second coupon for $20 will be sent to you within days of the Caesars Palace conversion.

  8. What will happen to my Connection Cash in Atlantic City?
Any outstanding Connection Cash will be converted into your Total Rewards account based on the casino where earned. For example, if your Connection Cash balance was $40 and $20 was earned at Bally's Atlantic City and the other $20 was earned at Caesars, $20 will be deposited into your Total Rewards account on the Bally's conversion date. Then, the other $20 will be deposited on the Caesars conversion date. You can obtain the cash value at a self-serve kiosk or the Total Rewards Center in increments of $5. And once deposited, the value won’t expire so long as you play and earn one Reward Credit every six months.

  9. What will happen to my Connection Cash in Tunica or Indiana?
Any outstanding Connection Cash will be converted into your Total Rewards account based on the casino where earned. For example, if your Connection Cash balance was $40 and $20 was earned at Grand, Tunica and the other $20 was earned at Sheraton, Tunica, $20 will be deposited into your Total Rewards account on the Grand's conversion date. Then, the other $20 will be deposited on the Sheraton's conversion date. You can obtain the cash value at a self-serve kiosk or the Total Rewards Center. Once deposited, the value won't expire so long as you play and earn one Reward Credit every six months.

  10. Can I use my Harrah's offers and coupons at any of the Caesars properties and vice versa?
Offers and coupons may be redeemed only at the casinos indicated directly on the coupon.

  11. Will I continue to receive mail from all the properties where I play?
You will continue to receive mail from all the properties where you currently play.

  12. Will I earn Reward Credits when playing at Caesars properties?
Until a casino is converted to Total Rewards, you will continue to earn Connection Comps and Cash. However, all outstanding rewards will be rolled into your Total Rewards account, and your combined activity will be considered when issuing Tier Status.

  13. When will I get a Total Rewards card?
A Total Rewards tiered card – Gold, Platinum or Diamond – will be sent to your preferred mailing addressed approximately two weeks prior to the conversion date of the casino you visit most often. If you do not receive a card in the mail, you can get your new card at any Total Rewards Center.

  14. What are Gold, Platinum and Diamond status?
With Total Rewards, you get the benefits and recognition you deserve based on calendar year play. Gold membership is the first step into the exciting world of Total Rewards which gives members more comp reward options, more choices in gaming entertainment and more control over how, when and where to use your rewards. Earn 4,000 Tier Credits in a calendar year to achieve Platinum status and benefits like free show tickets, hotel stays and extra Reward Credits. Earn 10,000 Tier Credits and get all the rich benefits offered to Platinum members plus access to exclusive Diamond Lounges and invitations to private events.
