Cortijo Pepe Aragon  Orgiva

The "Cortijo Pepe Aragon", is an approximately hundred year's old, freshly reconditioned farm house. It is situated in a quiet and remote area between the villages Orgiva and Lanjaron on the "Finca Pepe Aragon" forming part of a small organic farm in the Andalusian style.

Directly in front of the entrance door are the terrace and a breath-taking swimming pool. The owners of the house live a stones throw below the pool. They are a Spanish couple with their daughter. The swimming pool is 14 x 8 meters large and in the summer truly wonderful!

The free standing holiday house has 3 bedrooms, a roomy kitchen and an inviting salon with direct exit to the terrace. The country house is built in the traditional style of the region, with timber ceilings and wide stonewalls. It is comfortably furnished and radiates a pleasant atmosphere. One of the bedrooms is equipped with a bunk bed for 2 children.

From the terrace one arrives at small stairs leading to the pool. The pool is surrounded by a fence and is entered by a small door. The terrace is covered in the summer with bamboo mats, so that you can sit all day in the shade. Wooden garden furniture and 2 beach chairs are available at the pool. The pool is occasionally used by the owners.

In the grounds there are different organic gardens and the guests can get from Alberto, the "farmer" fresh vegetables nearly all year round. For interested guests he also offers courses on organic gardening. He can also give advice on moving to the area.

At Orgiva there are many shops and restaurants. Orgiva is 15 minutes away by car. Granada and the sea are 45 minutes away. The house has access by a 1.5 km dust road and there is a kind of car port right beside the house
