The auDA Announcements List is an Internet mailing list for dissemination of official auDA announcements and media releases. It is NOT a public discussion list. If you join the list, you will only receive mail from authorised auDA personnel.
Anyone may subscribe to the auDA Announcements List. If you are a member of auDA, it is not necessary to subscribe to the Announcements List, as all announcements and media releases are emailed to the auDA membership list as a matter of course.
auDA announcements and media releases are generally emailed to the DNS List, an independent public discussion list focusing on Australian domain name issues. The DNS list is not operated by auDA.

auDA has won its TPA action against Domain Names Australia Pty Ltd, over mass mail outs during 2003.
auDA has issued a Request for Tender for a 4 year licence agreement for the provision of registry services in .au second level domains, commencing 1 July 2006. Questions about the RFT have now been received and answered.
