camper bus

Camper buses provide transportation into the park for visitors staying in campgrounds or in backcountry units. Seats in the back few rows of the bus are taken out to accommodate backpacks and bikes. Camper buses will drop you off at any point along the park road, except in a closed area, or when wildlife is in the immediate vicinity. Bus schedules are available upon request at the Wilderness Access Center.

Camper buses can carry two bikes on a space available basis. Check at the Visitor Transportation Service Desk at the Wilderness Access Center to reserve space for bikes. Remember, cycling is limited to the park road only; off-road biking or biking on trails is strictly prohibited. Thanks for your cooperation.

  • Camper bus reservations for backcountry users: Available in person at the Wilderness Access Center upon assignment of backcountry permit only.

  • Camper bus reservations for campground stays: Reservations may be made after campground sites are reserved. Learn how to reserve camper bus seats.
