I am very pleased to welcome you to what I hope you find a lively forum on emerging ideas and issues in finance. As founder of a company that started collecting tick-by-tick market prices at a time when high frequency data was widely viewed as an essentially useless research tool - little more than huge mountains of "noise," really - I find it exciting and fun to keep exploring the possibilities of the new. This site is designed to provide all of us another avenue to stay abreast of the "bleeding edge" of finance.
