Results Reports

The Department of State issued reports to its employees in 2004 and 2005 to inform the employees of the major management accomplishments in the Department since 2001. In both 2004 and 2005, each Cabinet Department and major agency issued a parallel report to its employees, and the Office of Management and Budget published a Government-wide report. Below are the links to the 2004 and 2005 State Department reports.

Among the key areas of improvement discussed in the 2005 report are: workforce planning; recruitment and retention of employees; the governance review of IT projects; systems security; financial performance so that we know where every dollar comes from and where every dollar goes in a timely and accurate manner; use of our financial data in decision-making, monitoring the performance of our programs; strategic planning and budgeting; the processing of refugee admissions to the United States; and the capital security construction program.
