Albert & G
age:  This month will take us north to South Dakota for the South Dakota Acoustic Christmas Tour.  A 15-year tradition, this group of talented South Dakota musicians band  together each year to present a holiday concert at theaters across the state.  Albert and Gage are the featured guests for 2005, so we'll be trekking across the plains in our Ford F-150 for a couple of weeks.  The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar, New Year's Eve at the Wild Basin and Christmas at home are some other December highlights.

MoonHouse Studio:  Country singer/songwriter Mike Clifford begins work on his new CD to be partially recorded at MoonHouse Studio in the coming months.  The gorgeous Boyd Bristow CD, Cloudless Sky, is available now at www.boydbristow.com.  Produced by Chris Gage and recorded at MoonHouse.  Check it out.

MoonHouse Records:   A fait accompli!  The new Albert and Gage CD "Cry Love" is available for early purchasing at www.moonhouserecords.com and at Waterloo Records in Austin, Texas.  The official release comes in January 2006.  Don't forget about Albert and Gage's "One More Christmas" CD - available at www.moonhouserecords.com - to get you in the holiday mood.

...a note from Christine...

     My brain is fuzzy today - an overload of details lately - but Sunday I will leave the office behind and immerse myself in music, Christmas shows, old friends in South Dakota, and time alone with Chris in the truck as we cover several thousands of miles.  I look forward to the change of pace and focus.
    This has been an incredible year of challenge, grace, effort, surrender, growth, creativity and friends.  Creating "Cry Love" was a wonderful way to say goodbye to 2005 and celebrating its release in January will be an equally perfect way to begin 2006.
    We won't get to see my family this Christmas, but we are all still healthy and close, so there is much to be grateful for.  The beauty of marriage is that The Gage's truly are my family now and we will have some of them near.
     Thank you to all - Joyful Holiday to all - and to all a goodnight.

Act by not acting;
do by not doing.
Enjoy the plain and simple.

...and a note from Chris...

     I get to spend time with my family this month, which is something that doesn't happen very often.  We grew up in South Dakota, and the 4 kids were spread out over 13 years, so that big brother Gary was already off to college at Iowa State before sister Patty started school.  For a short time my 3 siblings all lived in Denver, and I could see them all together (usually around a performance that I was doing in the area).  Gary and his wife Anne have since moved to South Carolina, and even though Mike and Patty live in Denver, we rarely get a chance to see them, although last year we had an exquisite picnic in the mountains together.
     Best of all is that I get to see both my parents!  I'll spend time with my Mother during the South Dakota tour (she still lives in Pierre), and my Dad is coming with his wife Phyllis from Las Vegas, to meet up with sister Patty, her new husband Rob (we like him) and daughter Erin for Christmas!  I'll have two days to deck the halls, and I love to deck the halls.
     Merry Christmas, and enjoy your family.
     Chris
