Deputy Commissioner

Lt. Colonel Arthur White serves as the Deputy Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Public Safety. In this capacity, he oversees the daily operations of the Field Operations (Troops A - I, Aviation, SWAT, SCRT, CIU, HIDTA, and Troop J composed of Safety Education and Implied Consent), the Communications Division, the Human Resources Division, the Comptroller as well as the Public Information Office, Planning, the GSP Honor Guard, Operations Review, Capitol Police, Executive Security, the Special Investigations Division and the Motor Carrier Compliance Division.
