For bandanas and hat sizes, please use the measurement of your dog's neck.
How to measure your dog:
The Circumstances of the Neck
The neck size determines whether the dog will be comfortable wearing clothing. If the neck is too tight, the dog will have trouble breathing.
The Broadest part of the Chest
For the Chest measurement, measure the chest at the widest point, which is typically right behind the front legs. If the dog has a large girth, going up a size is always a smart choice!
The Length of the Back
Measuring should be done along the dog's backbone from the base of the head to the base of the tail.
If you fall between two sizes, going up a size is always a smart choice! |
