John Warta, Chairman and CEO

John has over 25 years of experience as a leader on the telecommunications industry, and is also the founder and Executive Director of Velocita Telecommunications. He was the founder and CEO of two publicly traded telecom companies. John has extensive experience in managing high growth companies and has been successful in raising almost three billion dollars in financing for his companies. John was also the founder of GST Hawaii and maintains a residence in Hawaii where he is an active member of the community.

Pat Bustamante, President and Chief Operating Officer

Pat has served as President and COO for Pacific LightNet since January 1, 2003. Prior to joining the Company, Pat served as Time Warner Telecom's Vice President and General Manager in Albuquerque, NM. Pat also served as General Manager and Regional Vice President of Sales for the Northwest and Hawaii with GST Telecom. Pat serves as an active part of the National Telecommunications Advisory Committee as the Vice Chair. In addition, he is on the Strategic Telecommunications Alliance & Resource Teams Blue Ribbon Committee; a board member of the New Mexico Internet Professionals Association, the Albuquerque Convention, and Visitors Bureau and the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce.

Tim has over 15 years of financial experience in the telecommunications industry. Tim was previously with GST Telecom where he had several management positions including Controller, Budget Director and Director of Finance. He has extensive experience in accounting, financial planning, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, and treasury functions. Tim was a member of the founding team of GST Telecom and has remained employed there since the inception, and was also involved in the creation and growth of Electric Lightwave, a Washington based telecom provider. Before GST, Tim was a partner in a local CPA firm where he specialized in forecasts and projections and financial consulting.
