With mile and miles of beautiful beaches and 36 golf courses and counting, Brunswick County is truly North Carolina's Golf Coast. Our golf courses are often listed in national golf publications among the best courses on the East Coast.
The Brunswick Islands enjoy a sub-tropical climate, which makes the weather ideal for golf. You can golf year-round. Many years, golfers can even wear short-sleeves on the course in the middle of Winter. We have some of the most beautiful golf courses in the country, with breathtaking views of the water and ocean breezes. Our golf courses are designed with respect for the beauty of the natural surroundings. You'll find rolling terrain, sprawling meadowlands and manicured greens that capture the spirit and personality of the country.

Some of the greatest golf course architects have left their artful mark on the area. You will find dozens of courses laid out by master designers, including Arnold Palmer, Tim Cate, Fred Couples, Rees Jones, Clyde Johnston, Rick Robbins and Willard Byrd. With names like these, you will have plenty of courses that will test your skill. Brunswick County has played host to professional and amateur tournaments, including the PGA Tour Qualifying, LPGA Futures Tour, CoolMax Amateur and the Sunbelt Senior PGA Tour.
You would think with master architects and world-class golf, you might have trouble getting a tee time and costly at our courses, but that is not the case here. All of the golf courses in the Brunswick Islands are open to the public! Many of the clubs here are family-owned and operated, making golf affordable.
