school policies and course requirements.

Policy
School Name
The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) is approved by the New York
State Division of Licensing to offer a variety of education programs.
REBNY is located at 570 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10022.
Registration
Broker Qualifying Course and In-house Continuing Education course offerings
require pre-registration. The registration form(s) can be downloaded from
the appropriate links. Computer Assisted CE course(s) allow one to register
online. This can be accomplished by accessing the Register for Computer
Assisted CE Link.
Instructor Information
- Each Broker Qualifying
and Continuing Education course is presented by New York State Department
of State approved instructors.
- Distance Learning
Computer CE courses do not have a live instructor. Questions can be
answered by e-mailing Indi Jaipal
Course Requirements
- To complete your
course and receive an Education Certificate, you must:
- Broker Qualifying
Course
- Attend a minimum
of 36 hours of the 45-hour program
- Sign-in and
sign-out at each session
- Pass the school
exam
- Continuing Education
- Live Presentation:
- Attend
90% of the course
- Sign-in
and sign-out at each session
- Distance Learning

School Records
REBNY will maintain for a period of 5 years the following information in
each student record: The students name, address, state registration number,
course title and date of enrollment and completion.
Cancellation Policy
Broker Qualifying,
Continuing Education, and Non-credit Seminar programs can only be cancelled
in writing no later than 3-days prior to the start of the program.
Prohibition of
Recruiting
No recruiting for employment opportunities for any real estate brokerage
firm is allowed. Please report any effort to recruit by anyone to Indi
Jaipal at 212-532-3100.
School Requirements
REBNY will not base course fees, entrance standards, or standards for
successful completion of a course on a student's race, color, sex, religion,
national origin, handicap or familial status.
