The Active Living Resource Centre for Ontarians with a Disability (ALRC) was developed as a project of the Active Living Alliance for Canadians with a Disability - Ontario (ALACD-Ontario),as a result of a provincial Think Tank held in February 2000.
ALACD-Ontario received two successful grants from The Ontario Trillium Foundation (2002, 2004) to develop and launch the ALRC.
As a result of growing awareness and continued success, the ALRC incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2005.
