You, along with Montgomery and Emily were wonderful hosts. Lorna and I enjoyed a mix of rest and activity. One of the highlights was sunbathing on the lawn. The castle and gardens were so relaxing. Since there was a report of a couger in the area we were cafeful to hold large sticks of wood vertically over out heads so we would appear much larger and taller to the cougar. Lorna needed a much taller stick than I. We took many fine photos. One I shall label "Stream after cougar drank and departed". Our four nights here were therapeutic, the weather outstanding& the nights cool and quiet, notwithstanding some minor snoring. We would love to return!

We were afraid not to find a place to stay on Vancouver Island because of BC Day! Calling Dieter to ask him for a room, he offered us the possibilty of today, although we had to leave early in the morning! So we could not enjoy the breakfast, but nevertheless we enjoyed the short stay because of the wonderful surroundings and the free access to all the things which this B&B offers! (internet, dishes, and books) Thank you

Well, this is my second trip to Victoria and I think it has been even better than the first. My parents let me pick the vacation spot this year because I just graduated high school, so I told them,"Let's finish up the Victoria trip!". Exept I now know there is NO WAY to finish the trip!.:) There's always something new to experience in this island! Thank you so much for your hospitality and advice!. And please forward a thank you to Yvonne for all of her kindness and for helping me bake a pie! (my first pie). I had such a wonderful time picking (and eating!) blackberries, whale-whatching, seeing the fireworks at Butchart, and hiking. THis island is like nowhere else in the world and is perhaps my favorite place. Maybe I will live here someday! Who Knows? Again, thank you for opening your home and hearts to my family and me! You have been incredibly kind and helpful! Love and Blessings.
PS- Thanks for filling me up on DELICIOUS breakfasts before I must go eat university cafeteria food! Give my regards to Emily and Montgomery.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The views are fabulous and we loved the quietness. We had fun on the kayaks and are thankful we didn't end up in the lagoon! Thank you, Annette, for the great food. You are a friendly and gracious host.
