Rocky Mtn 3 & 5 Point - Blankets
Produced in Europe, our blankets are exact copies of old Witney Blankets, and are the same great quality at a much more attractive price! Made of 100% wool in colors and designs that are accurate, historic reproductions of original Fur Trade era blankets. Approximately 75" x 90", each features black point marks, which originally denoted the size of the blanket or the number of beaver pelts at which it was valued. Great for capotes, gun covers, or bedrolls. more

Traditional style capote worn by most western tribes and Mountain men. Can be made from blankets for authenticity, or heavy wool. Includes several options for fringe treatment, decorations, etc., and is easy to make.

Revolutionary Copper Kettle
Patterned after an original in the Museum of the Fur Trade, this unique copper kettle has a ring on the lid for lifting and iron socket handle so the lid can be used as a skillet, and an iron bail for hanging or handling the entire pot. Handmade of copper with a heavy tin lining. These kettles date from approximately 1760 on.

Wool Tradecloth
|
Stroud "Saved List Cloth"
Made just like the original, high quality wool broadcloth produced in the area of Stroud, England in the 1700s & 1800s for trade with Native Americans. This material has an approx. 1" wide, white selvedge or "Saved List", running down both edges. The un-dyed edge has a "sawtooth" appearance. Highly desirable for early style garments and blankets, made in 54" width just like the original! Available in red, yellow, green & navy. more
