I find aerial images of anywhere on earth fascinating. The perspective this type image affords triggers a level of understanding and appreciation that seems to be very addictive. This is shared by many others given the quantity of publications that cater to this field of interest.
Creating this website seemed only natural since my other websites contained aerials selected for their relationship to the content being dealt with. The response to the scattered selections of aerials suggested that a website combining all of my aerial inventory might prove to be entertaining to those who enjoy this genre of images. Obviously the main subject matter of these photographs is Vancouver and its neighbours, the inspiration for my other web efforts.
Initially these images are presented as a series of flights in sequential order. Each flight will be documented in the order in which the images were taken. All images are included, even those that have some distortion since it is impossible to predict what may be of value in an image to a viewer who visits this site. As long as some information or entertainment can be gained, an image has a place in this collection.
I hope you enjoy this "bird's eye view" experience as much as I have and do.
