Mexico's famed San Fernando Valley; just south of Brownsville, Texas is the
Whitewing Capitol of the World. The millions of acres of vast grain fields
and mesquite brushlands are their nesting grounds and home to phenomenal
populations of Mourning Doves, Blue Rock Pigeons, Ducks, Geese, Bobwhite
Quail and Sandhill Cranes.
We pick you up in Texas and drive to your home while in Mexico - Hacienda Campestre Real.
The complex will accommodate up to 50 guests and will be your home while in the Valley. Bedrooms are air conditioned and huge. Here you're served excellent Mexican and American cuisine including wild game, steaks, and fresh seafood. Nachos and margaritas await your return from each hunt and the bar is always open. The pool is often an inviting sight, the grounds are beautiful, and the service is tops!

Mexico Dove HuntingFantastic shooting is only a few minutes from the lodge. Remember, this is the Whitewing Capitol of the World! Fields are scouted daily to insure good shooting. You'll average 10-20 boxes per shoot. Seasons open in mid-August and Mourning Dove continues into December. |
Mexico Quail HuntingIt's the Best Wild Quail Hunting you'll find anywhere! You can't imagine the number of birds in the Valley's vast grain fields! Flushing 20+ coveys in an afternoon is common, and you don't have to get up before dawn if you decide to hunt them all day. Season is late October through February. |

Mexico Geese HuntingThe Goose hunting is phenomenal! The numbers will stagger the imagination. There are Snows, Blues and Specks by the tens of thousands; with some lesser Canadas and Ross' for good measure. Fields are scouted daily and hunting is from individual pits using large decoy spreads. Sandhill Cranes are often taken as a bonus. Seasons are from late October through late February. |
Mexico Duck HuntingThe Mexico Duck hunting is super and the limits are liberal. Species include Blue-Winged, Green-Winged and Cinnamon Teal; Widgeon; Pintails; Redheads; Mexican Mallards, Scaup, and Tree Ducks. Hunting is over decoys on managed freshwater ponds or near the Laguna Madre. Seasons are late October to late February. |

All hunt packages include excellent meals, lodging, open bar, guides and bird boys, transportation from Texas, licenses and gun permits, blinds and decoys, great hunting, and bird cleaning and packaging for the trip home.
Hunters fly to Brownsville, Harlingen, or McAllen, Texas, are met at the airport and driven to the Lodge. Alternatively, there is a private air strip at the lodge.
Hunters are allowed to enter Mexico with two (2) shotguns and one hundred (100) rounds of ammo per gun. If you prefer, you can use our lodge guns - mostly Beretta's and Benelli's. We procure all your licenses and permits. Shells are $11/box at the lodge. Tips are customary for your guides, bird boys and staff and aren't included in the packages.

Combo Hunts are for Ducks, Geese, Quail, and Cranes. Doves may also be available depending on your hunting dates.
Additional hunting days are $300/person/day. Additional evenings are $75/person. Scheduled dates are confirmed with a 50% / person deposit. Deposits are transferable with sufficient notice, but are not refundable. All paperwork for licenses and fees are due 30 days before your hunt. Missed hunts because of airline delays or other causes beyond our control are not refundable. Observers are welcome. The lodge can be reserved for Private Events or Corporate Programs. Custom packages and group rates are available. It's an excellent place for entertaining clients or just relaxing.
