Our B&B is located on Richview Road, a quiet dead end street. We are on an 80' cliff facing due south. We are also a short 4 minute walk from the world- renowned restaurant, the Sooke Harbour House.
Our three private suites all face the amazing view of mountains and water. Everyone is welcome to stroll around the property and you just may be accompanied by Felix, our family pet!

A spectacular 180' panoramic view of ocean, mountains and sky! River Otters, Mink, Bald Eagles, Harbour Seals and Orca Whales become part of the majestic view and experience.
Enjoy the view from your private deck [in or out of the Jacuzzi] or soak up the atmosphere on our red cedar benches.
A brief walk of 4 minutes takes you to the waters edge. You can walk the Whiffen Spit, or follow the shoreline at low tide and discover the marine life on your own, or take a Seaweed Tour and learn about the Ocean Garden!

At Richview every detail receives loving attention, from the landscaped grounds to the mouth- watering breakfasts. Imaginatively prepared and served by your hostess, Joan Gething, you can enjoy your first meal of the day in the privacy of your room or downstairs at the common table. Either way the view is a part of your breakfast.

Every aspect of this B&B expresses the artistry of a craftsman, your host Francois Gething. He has used local hardwoods and other exquisite materials to sculpt a retreat to blend with the spectacular surroundings of ocean, mountains, sea and wildlife. Each suite features simple lines that highlight the natural beauty of the yellow cedar, edge grain fir. and alder woods. Strike a match in the wood fireplace and the rooms fill with the warm glow of a crackling fire.
Our two upstairs suites, the Frog and Spoon Rooms each feature yellow cedar and fir beds with Kelp Art featured above the headboard, river rock fireplaces and cozy loveseats and the Jacuzzi awaits you on your deck..
The Garden Spa Room is another calm oasis of alder furniture and fireplace, ready for you to indulge in a yellow cedar shower and steam room therapy as well as your own Jacuzzi on the patio
