Intuit (TurboTax) respects the opinions of all reviewers. However, we take exception to reviews that are factually incorrect. This "review" is intended to respond to the inaccuracies in the review posted by Don Gordon on 12/19/05.
The reviewer states that TurboTax includes malware (including C-Dilla). This is NOT true. TurboTax does NOT include any malware. We have independent labs test our products prior to and after release and there is no malware. They have also confirmed that there is no conflict with the most commonly used firewalls, DVD/CD drives, and virus detection programs. Additionally, we have gone back and re-tested TurboTax using the same malware detection software the reviewer used and cannot duplicate his results.

If it's like the last few years, it will be great!
I haven't used the 2005 version of this product, but I have been a Turbotax customer for many years. I have never had a problem running the software on my computer (Dell Dimension 8250) nor have I experienced problems with any tax calculations. I have read reviews from people complaining that they don't get their rebates. Again, I have always received everything that has been promised. I used the corporation software to file returns for an S-corporation and again, have experienced no problems. I have never used Tax Cut for personal tax returns, but I have used their corporate software. It is much less user friendly than the Turbotax version. The one thing that I have noticed about the Turbotax software over the years, is that is appears they work on finishing up forms later in the year. For example, downloads to update the Kiddie Tax form weren't available until February. I usually start my taxes in January and then have to wait until all the changes have been made to the software. Since I usually owe money, I just let my returns sit until the first of April, run a complete update to make sure there have been no more modifications, and then mail them in. I highly recommend Turbotax and will be buying it again this year.
