It has been more than six months since I received my 2003 short-shaft Mercury 25hp and I couldn't be happier. It ran great through its first South Texas duck hunting season and is now ready for summer time flats fishing. The little outboard starts every time by the second pull and has never given me a lick of trouble. I just wanted to comment on the purchase of my special program Mercury 15 horsepower outboard. The motor was arrived as promised and I've had the chance to use it several times. It started on the second pull out of the box and I rarely have to pull it more than once. I was a little hesitant to buy a motor that wasn't new, but I'm glad I did, I'm very pleased with the motor and the value of my purchase.

Aloha iboats. We bought a 2003 9.9 hp mercury and you shipped it here to Hawaii. It arrived perfectly crated and I decided to wait 4 months before I sent you my comments because it seems to me most people are so impressed that they respond before they have spent much time with the outboard. We use it 5 days out of 7 since we live in a marina.
This outboard is as good as it gets. I recommend you to everybody I talk to. This outboard was basically better than new when I received it. It runs perfectly and I know this was one of the best purchases I will ever make.
We will buy from you again and again.

On my first transaction I purchased a 40 horse Mercury outboard and dealt with Dan. His service and individual consideration was great. Product knowledge, courteous attitude, complete follow through, all topped off with service that was much faster than I expected.
I came back to look for my new Humminbird electronics unit. Shane Berg was on the phone in a flash. The unit I had decided on was no longer available. Shane immediately knew the replacement model. Although the new model had not been posted on your site yet Shane connected me to the Humminbird website without causing me to call back. We were able to make an educated decision immediately. When I learned my choice was discontinued and the new model wasn't on your site yet I was worried that I might not be able to get the unit here before I leave on my trip the end of this month, but you folks don't ever let me down. Shane tells me it is in stock and will be here first of next week some time, maybe even as early as this Friday.
I always choose to do business with people who treat me like a person, not an opportunity for a sale. I came to you the first time looking for my chosen product at a good price, expecting to have to put up with some minor hassles and delays to get the good price. I have been completely overwhelmed by the treatment I have received from you. I am recommending you whenever I get a chance.

I am sending a message back to you to confirm that I did receive my 35 hp Johnson Motor. I was surprised that It came sooner than expected. I do want to say that the used 2000 motor looked better than I thought it would. Sure it had a few nicks on it but that was expected. My friend and I looked over the entire motor and noticed that you could tell that iboats inspected and tested it before shipment. I thank iboats for living up to its company policy.
The big test was taking it out for a run. We took it out the next day and I must say I was a little apprehensive at first but when we got it out on the water and ran it and fished with it for two and half hours, there appears to be no problems. It starts well, idles well, runs well and everything about it seems to working to my satisfaction. So far I am very pleased to have dealt with iboats.
If everything continues as expected I will truly recommend iboats to my friends. I could not have received this kind of motor at this price if it wasn't for iboats. Thanks Dan for your professional assistance.

I caught a 19.5-pound bluefish the first day out. The winner of the bluefish tournament won with a little 16 pounder. Oh well, next year. I will have a picture of a 50 or so pound tuna I caught 20 miles off the point of Montauk.
