Banjo earns Atlantic Sun Player of the Week honors

 | | Senior B.J. Banjo was named the A-Sun Player of the Week on Monday. | JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (January 2, 2006) – Senior B.J. Banjo (Baltimore, Md.) has been named the Atlantic Sun Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, following her sensational 39-point performance in the Lady Bucs’ win over Southeast Missouri State last Wednesday. It is the second time this season Banjo has received A-Sun recognition, after being named A-Sun Co-Player of the Week on Nov. 21.

Second half run lifts Bucs past Morehead State, 82-70

 | | Junior Travis Strong had a season high 20 points against Morehead State. | JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Dec. 29, 2005) – Leading by one point with 12:37 remaining in the game, the ETSU men’s basketball team used a 12-0 offensive burst to take a 61-48 lead and eventually win 82-70 over non-conference foe Morehead State Thursday night in front of 4,050 fans at Memorial Center.

Banjo's 39 propels Lady Bucs to 81-74 victory over Southeast Missouri State

.jpg) | | Senior B.J. Banjo tallied 39 points in Wednesday's win. | JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (December 28, 2005) - Senior B.J. Banjo (Baltimore, Md.) poured in a career-high 39 points as the Lady Bucs topped Southeast Missouri State, 81-74, Wednesday night in Memorial Center. ETSU improves to 6-3 with the win, while SEMO drops below .500, at 5-6.
