Overview
The Northern Territory Library and Information Service (NTLIS) contributes
to the development of the Northern Territory community by providing
all Territorians with access to information, literature and their
documentary heritage.
NTLIS offers a diverse range of client services including:
- Northern Territory Library reference and information services at Parliament House for members of Parliament, the NT community and visitors to the NT,
- Making the documentary heritage of the Northern Territory accessible,
- Supporting public library services through operational and developmental grants,
- Providing support to remote Community Library Officers,
- Developing resources and services for libraries in the Northern Territory Library Network,
- Supporting a centralised library management system (Virtua) to many libraries in the NT,
- Supporting the Government Libraries & Information Service.
