Mission: Extended campus services provides access to library services and collections for all students, faculty, and staff involved in courses taken outside of Johnson City (including online courses).

All off-campus students, faculty and staff have access to all library materials available at the main campus site or at ETSU Kingsport. Use the menus at the left to access all collections, including instant-access electronic books and journals.

Services for all off-campus locations:

Reference Services: Assistance with finding the information you need and using library resources, including access to online books and journals from home.

• By appointment, at your campus location. Email jonesmf@etsu.edu or phone (423)439-4336 to make an appointment.

Document Delivery: Have library materials (books or magazine/journal articles) sent to your campus location (Bristol, Kingsport) or if you are not near those locations, to your home or office.

• Make your request using the Interlibrary Loan link on the library homepage or through the ILLiad link on Get it @ ETSU.
• In the "notes" field, indicate the location where you take classes (online, Kingsport, Bristol, etc.)

Library Instruction: Faculty may request library orientations tailored to class needs.

• In-class orientations at your off-campus location.
• Handouts and/or web pages on library use tailored to your course assignments, on request.
• Blackboard discussion board and/or chat participation.
• Email jonesmf@etsu.edu or call (423)439-4336 at least two weeks prior to your requested class date.

ETSU at Bristol has a Library Resource Room with some staffed hours, a small reference and periodicals collection, and computer access to electronic resources. Reserve materials and ITV tapes are available through Bristol's office staff. Helpful handouts are available in the resource room to provide instructions on the basic use of electronic resources.

ETSU at Kingsport has a fully functioning, staffed library that includes circulating and reference books, bound and current periodicals, networked computers with access to electronic resources, viewing space for instructional television (ITV) class tapes, reserve materials, and copying and printing services. RODP students

If you are an RODP student and ETSU is your home institution, you will be able to access all ETSU library services as any other off-campus ETSU student. If you need to get a TALC card to check out books from other Tennessee academic libraries, e-mail circdesk@etsu.edu.

If you are an RODP student and your home institution is another TBR school, you can:

• Access InfoTrac and other library resources through the Tennessee Virtual Library.
• If you are taking an ETSU course and need passwords to access online resources at ETSU or from the Tennessee Virtual Library, use the form on the RODP databases page. The password for your instructor's institution should be available inside your RODP course. Log in to your RODP course and click on the "Library" link. If you need help with ETSU's logins, contact Marie Jones at jonesmf@etsu.edu. Put "RODP" in your subject line.
• Have books and articles delivered to you from any TBR library (See Tennessee Virtual Library Document Delivery)
• Get a TALC card to use books from other Tennessee academic libraries (including ETSU).
