Our SpecialtyTidal Coast Guide Service offers Inshore & Offshore fishing opportunities in both freshwater & saltwater for a variety of species. Offshore we target: Spanish Mackeral, Bonito, Kings, Big Flounder, Drum, Spade Fish & more. Inshore the target species are primarily Flounder, Drum, Trout, Blues & Spanish. Inshore freshwater charters consist of Jordan Lake Crappie & Catfish, & Northeast Cape Fear River Trophy Catfish & Panfish trips. Tidal Coast offers Family Beach Trips that the whole family can enjoy, and a number of specialty trips. We also offer Coastal Barrier Island Rabbit Hunts & Clapper & King Rail (marshhen) hunts in the fall and winter months.
The boat is a 22' Keywest 216 Bayreef center console open fisherman, fully equipped with a 150hp Yamaha Engine, poling platform, marine radio, depth finder, trolling motor, 12 rod holders, and all United States Coast Guard approved life jackets and safety equipment. There is lots of fishing space & walk around room on this boat. It is one of the most stable boats on the market today and only needs 12" of water to float in. Shallow water fishing is not a problem with this vessel. All fishing tackle and equipment is furnished. All you need to bring is your own food & drinks, water, raingear, suntan lotion, hat, sunglasses, etc... You can bring your equipment if you like. Our CaptainCaptain Ronald Genes (Capt. Ron) is a United States Coast Guard certified licensed captain, and certified in CPR and First Aid. He has 33 years experience fishing the coastal waters of southeastern North Carolina. His extensive knowledge and skills of the fisheries will keep even the novice angler encouraged and will enhance the seasoned angler's fishing adventure as well. A family atmosphere is encouraged and children are welcomed. Capt. Ron will work hard to provide you with a memorable, educational, and successful fishing adventure that is fun and stress free.
