- I have uploaded my music to the MP3 Player - I can see it up there
but it won't actually play.
The Record Scout player is an online MP3 player. Unfortunately at the
moment it will only play MP3 files and not WMA Files (Windows Media Audio).
It will not play any other file types, so you will need to convert your
audio file to MP3 format. There are plenty of free converters on the
internet. Visit
http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tag=srch&nid=1&qt=mp3+convertor&tg=dl-2001
to find a free one.
- Erm, i dont wanna sound realli sad, but my bands name is
MRHappychainsaw and on the audio you have it as MYhappychainsaw
The track names are automatically generated when we update the MP3 player
each month based on the file name of your MP3 file. If you can upload a new
MP3 file with the correct title. Our FTP Upload
page has tips on how to name your MP3. If you upload one with the correct
name this will be updated next update.
- I can't seem to find a way to upload music onto your site, however
I've seen that others have done it. guess I'm a bit dense. any suggestions?
To upload music to Record Scout you will need to FTP your audio file to
our server. We have tried other methods, but they do not work with large MP3
files. Visit our FTP upload page. If you
need further information on FTP, what it is and how it works try this search
on Google.
Define: FTP. There are lots of free software programs out there to help
with FTP, we have listed one of them on the FTP
page.
- Do you review demos over the net? if so you may listen to over 100
pieces on this site.
If you would like to be reviewed by Record Scout you will first need to
sign up for free.
Once you have signed up post your demo to the
Record Scout
address. If you can not send a CD then we can review an MP3 that has
been uploaded to our MP3 player. You will need to
upload your MP3. We
update our MP3 player on the 1st of each month. Once your MP3 is live
contact us
on our form and let us know the
track number and the name of your band/
group/ recording name.
- I am General Manager at Sola bar in the Contact Theatre, Manchester,
and am interested in knowing how possible it would be for our venue to host
unsigned band nights.
We have added an area on the forum for you to
promote
your venues. Also we have added a links category for
music venues.
- HOW DO I UPLOAD OUR BAND PICS ONTO OUR PAGE ??????
When it comes to adding your photos to your band page, you do not upload the
photos, you link to the URL of where they are hosted on the Internet. You
will need to upload them on to another server first. If you do not have your
own website or webspace then there is a free service you can use at:
http://www.tinypic.com
- you can upload your photos there and then link to the URL.
