Era currently employs over 900 people in Alaska, the Gulf Coast, and various other locations. Corporate headquarters are in Anchorage, Alaska. Era currently operates approximately 100 helicopters and 20 airplanes. For five decades Era has provided safe, responsive, and cost effective helicopter and fixed-wing support to its customers.

Era Helicopters- Rotary-Wing

Era’s helicopter division has three major operating bases in the US. The Alaska Division (and corporate headquarters) is located in Anchorage, AK. Lake Charles, LA, is headquarters for Era’s Gulf Coast Division, and Reno, NV, is a satellite of the Alaska helicopter division. From these bases, Era provides a variety of services including oil and mineral exploration, construction support, government contracts, flightseeing, and media support.

Era Aviation – Fixed Wing

The fixed wing division offers charter and regional airline service throughout Alaska. The chartered aircraft fleet serves a variety of clients, including oil field crews, tour groups, athletic teams, and industry and government officials.

Era’s regional airline – an Alaska Airlines Commuter Service Carrier is Alaska’s largest regional airline. Currently, Era operates DeHavilland Twin Otters, Dash-8’s and Convair-580’s.

All full-time, regular positions include a complete benefits package containing health insurance, life and accident insurance, vacation, 401(k), pension plan, and pass privileges.
