Senior Vice President of Worldwide Human Resources

George Haddad joined VeriSign in
July 2003 as senior vice president of Worldwide Human Resources. Mr.
Haddad is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation
of VeriSign’s worldwide Human Resources strategy which includes talent
acquisition, talent management, learning and development, total rewards
strategy and implementation, as well as organization development programs
that support VeriSign’s ability to execute on the business strategy
while continuing to promote and enhance the company’s unique culture.
Mr. Haddad is a seasoned human resources
leader with over twenty years of experience. Immediately prior to joining
VeriSign, Mr. Haddad served as vice president of Human Resources at
the Clarify division of AMDOCS, Inc., the world’s leading provider of
billing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Prior to his position
at AMDOCS, Mr. Haddad had an 18-year career at Nortel Networks, where
he served as vice president of Human Resources and maintained other
management roles in Human Resources.
Mr. Haddad holds a B.S. in Math
and Computer Science from McGill University in Canada and completed
graduate coursework in finance and compensation from Ottawa University
in Canada. Further education includes completion of the advanced program
in Organizational Development from Columbia University in New York,
and the certification Program for high-tech executives at Stanford University,
in Palo Alto, California. Mr. Haddad is co-chair of the San Jose State
University Curriculum Committee for the Undergraduate/Graduate Business
Degree Program.
