Marlboro it is the most popular cigarette brand, created by Philip Morris. Marlboro brand became famous mostly through their billboard and TV advertisements of the Marlboro Man. Nowadays, Marlboro is known as the best selling cigarette brand in the world.
Marlboro, along with many other Philip Morris brands conquered USA in 1902. This was the year when Phillip Morris, the London-based cigarette manufacturer, created a New York subsidiary in 1902 with the intention of promoting several of its cigarette brands on the American market. By 1924 they were advertising Marlboro as womens cigarette under the slogan "Mild as May".

Camel
Camel is a popular sigarets brand which was introduced by R.J. Reynolds Tobacco (RJR) in 1913. Camel cigarettes contain a blend of Turkish and American tobacco.
Camel cigarettes were blended in a way that made them easier to smoke, in comparison to other much harsher popular cigaretts brands at the time of its debut on the tobacco market. They were also promoted by a careful teaser advertising, which merely stated that "the Camels are coming".

In mid 1800s, a London tobacconist opened a store where
Marlboro cigarettes were manufactured and sold. Later in 1902, the tobacco company was incorporated in New York as a British-American venture. The ownership was shifted to American stockholders in 1919 and the cigaretes company was renamed Philip Morris & Co. It became a principal maker of
cigaretes in the 1930s and '40s, and the popularity of its Marlboro
cigarets grew with its use of cowboy imagery to advertise them in the mid 1950s.
