Student Testimonials
It is a great program, very fast paced and I am really looking forward to the internship. I loved everything about the course, especially the one on one instructing. It really puts your school a class above the rest.
Thank you for all the encouragement and support.

Great! Very fast paced, but very thorough at the same time.
I enjoyed the small class sizes. Everybody from the students to all of the staff were very very enjoyable to work with.
I thought the project management aspect should have been a bit earlier in the course. Other than that I really can't complain about anything.
See you all in January. Have a Merry Christmas and I can't wait to learn more about website design.

Chris,
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed and profited from my sessions with Dave. He is a very good teacher; knowledgable, patient and humerous. The individual sessions were well worth the extra money - it was great to be able to move at my pace and focus on the issues that were most relevant to me.
You probably already know this, but you also have an excellent manner with prospective students. It was your approach on the phone that satisfied me it was a good idea to come to the Victoria School of Business and Technology for training.
Please don't hesitate to use this as a testimonial if you would like. I am quite sincere in my praise.
Best wishes for continued success.

Dreamweaver Training
Hi Chris,
I just wanted to say thanks to you and also to mention that Dave Slipp was excellent as an Instructor, you're fortunate to have him on the staff with northStudio.com and the Victoria School of Business and Technology. He is definitely, very well versed in web design and all the nuisances involved. It is one thing to pick up a book and teach yourself, quite another to have such an experienced teacher, show you short cuts that lessen the time spent on small details. I have no problem recommending northStudio.com and the Victoria School of Business and Technology as a company that knows the business of teaching web design, and Dave Slipp as an instructor for all your design needs.
Thank you.

I found Dave the instructor was great, and I learned to navigate my way around InDesign CS2. 3 hours a day of training is ample, but I started to get brain burn out after that. I could do with refreshments and snacks!!!

The custom training session is ideal for anyone in need of gaining
practical knowledge of software applications from trained professionals
in a short-time. The one-on-one, concentrated lesson with Rene
Hache was thorough and informative. I feel confident in applying
what I’ve
learned immediately and appreciate the after-session support offered.

The Victoria School of Business and Technology was the only school
I found to be promising for my needs. They were flexible to my schedule
and enabled me to get a strong understanding of web developing. The
teaching was thorough and before I knew it the course was over and
I learned so many skills that I can now feel confident in developing
sites. With the small class sizes it was more one-on-one teaching
which I found beneficial. Everything we were taught was up to date
by the web standards.
There was never a question the instructors couldn't help me with
and even on the weekends out of school time they'd promptly reply
to my e-mails for advice on what I was working on.
The Web Design Certification Program inspired me to get to work
on things to practice my new skills. I'm a huge fan of Adobe Photoshop
so I found that to be one of the most intriguing subjects. This is
just the first step and now I am in the internship program dealing
with actual clients and also learning alot of the business end of
the field. I definitely recommend the Victoria School of Business
and Technology to anyone that is looking into going to a web design
school.

When I needed InDesign training in a hurry Victoria School of Business and Technology came
through for me. With their custom scheduling and pool of excellent
resources they were able to make my course happen at the last minute
and meet all of my needs. Rene was an awesome instructor - easy to
understand, very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. Thanks again
for a job well done.

"One could learn Dreamweaver or Photoshop somewhere else but
at Victoria School of Business and Technology, as an active and successful web design firm,
they specialize in integrating academic education with real world
tips and hints that will save time and improve the functionality
of any web site. I am delighted to have taken this route."
Updated Testimonial
Just wanted to share my appreciation for the education I
gained through The Victoria School of Business and Technology's Web Design
Certificate Program. Not only am I building websites, but my first
site www.pendulums.com is now
ranking in the fist page of Google, often in the top 5 spot, for many
of my main key Words; including #3 for "dowsing pendulums",
#2 & #3 for "pendulums history", #4 for "dowsing history",
#1 & #2 for "pendulums comparison" and
#1 for "pendulums gift".
I am now focusing on optimizing my second site www.AskGrace.com.
Thank you!!!

"I'm happy with the outcome of what I learned here at Victoria School of Business and Technology.
I learned everything I wanted to know. I now have the knowledge and
skills and know the process of building and making a successful web
site."

"My name is Gavin Surerus and I enjoyed my time at Victoria School of Business and Technology.
I chose to go to Victoria School of Business and Technology rather than another school because
of the small classroom sizes and flexible course schedule. After
completing the course, I felt comfortable in being able to make a
clean web site. I actually was able to complete two clients sites
during my duration of my studies. I recommend Victoria School of Business and Technology to
anyone that asks."

"I wanted to mention that I really appreciated the flexibility
of taking the Corel course with your school. If I had gone to Camosun
or any other computer school I would have had to work with their
schedule and when I injured myself I would not have been able to
complete my course. You have no idea how much I appreciated the fact
that when I injured my arm that I was able to put off continuing
my course until my right arm was good enough for typing. Not only
did I get a date that I could come back to where we left off but
because of Rene's background outside of computers he was able to
help me with supplement suggestions that I could take as well (which
I might add I'm sure helped me heal a bit faster).
Your company has offered a "safe" environment for students
who are beginners and with people that realize that "yes, other
things do happen in our lives that prevent us from continuing with
plans at a certain time". Your company has a realistic approach
to business and life and I truly embrace what you stand for. I look
forward to taking courses with you again and you can be guaranteed
that Victoria School of Business and Technology will be my recommendation for anyone that is
interested in good quality, understanding and professional instruction
in a comfortable environment.
Wishing you a little early but a wonderful holiday season and a
prosperous New Year!!!"

"I was fortunate enough to find this training company at a
time when I actually was able to attend classes and upgrade my skills.
Did I say a training company? Actually this company I found is only
instructing as a side line to what they really do. Now, if you are
like me you are probably thinking something like “If they do
it as a side line they probably don’t do a very good job.” I
mean that’s what we have come to expect, right? Like uncle “Walters
Bakery and Bait Shop” or “Marie's Clothing and Used car
Emporium.” Sure Walter sells the best bait in town but why
do the muffins taste fishy? And have you seen the upholstery in Marie's
used cars? Well, you get the idea. But I have to admit I was pleasantly
surprised to find this company different. Very different. The company?
Victoria School of Business and Technology
What made this company different is that the side line is directly
linked to what they do; web sites. And very good ones too. That means
the instructors are users, everyday, every week, all year long, users.
I have been a user of Photoshop since version 5 and have taken courses
at several places both in Victoria and on-line, as I know a lot of
you have too. And I know that most of you wish your instructors knew
enough about the programs they teach to answer all your questions
just as I did. I sat through five four hour lessons with the instructor
from NorthStudio and I learned a ton. Things I already knew were
covered, things I knew and was
cloudy on, were clarified. BUT! The real difference in these courses
came from learning about tools and effects I figured I knew and didn’t
use ‘cause I considered them “eye candy.” Because
of their extensive experience with the software the instructors were
able to deal with my prejudices and show me combinations of tools,
uses that I had never thought of and I now cut my time on the computer
because of it. To add to this Victoria School of Business and Technology Instructors even gave
me links to the sites and groups where they share and get some of
their best tips and tricks. Talk about “…Teach a man
to fish…!!" As you can probably tell, I liked this course,
I liked the instructors, I liked the equipment and room, and I do
recommend it anyone."

"I went to Victoria School of Business and Technology to gain added computer skills specifically
in web design and development. What I got was a lot more. This group
of professionals has taught, listened and learned with me. They have
developed a flexible course stream that easily adjusted to my learning
pace and has allowed me to get the extra computer skills I wanted,
while I have followed many other pursuits including work and school.
I have never felt that once a course had been completed that I could
not go to them to get added professional advice. Their team of experts
has created both an excellent learning environment and a support
network for my computer development needs. I freely recommend them
to anyone that is interested in the web."

"I have taken many computer courses over the years at several
educational institutions and by far, Victoria School of Business and Technology Inc. outshines
them all. I was first impressed by Dieter Gerhard, the President,
who realized his vision of having a school running parallel to, and
keeping pace with, a thriving, dynamic web page design business.
The benefits of working with highly skilled teachers actively engaged
in web design and development ensures that you will learn the latest
programs and technological advances. No one seriously considering
a career in web design and development should miss out on this unique
opportunity to learn with leading-edge experts. I found the energy
and synergy created by the Victoria School of Business and Technology team very motivating and
I appreciated being afforded a true view of the industry.
"The small classes are absolutely wonderful, the minimum being
one person and the maximum being four. I can't say enough about this
school. You'll be very pleased to take a course here and having taken
one, you'll definitely want to take another and another!"
Brenda O'Grady - Victoria BC
"Before enrolling in the Dreamweaver and Photoshop classes
at Victoria School of Business and Technology I had virtually no working knowledge of the two software's.
By the last Dreamweaver class, I had taken an idea and turned it
into a fully functioning live website, and today I'm using Photoshop
to create new business cards, postcards, and a pop-up for my website.
Thank you Chris, Mike, Jonny, Wendi, and Dieter. You guys have sent
me in the right direction."

"Victoria School of Business and Technology was our choice of study for many reasons.
We work at a small printing company and needed specific help in areas
related to our business. Victoria School of Business and Technology customized a program just
for us! Our teacher, Rene, was fantastic. With his incredible energy
and "let's try for fun" attitude, we accomplished a lot
of learning and felt competent with the software. The extra support
and after support we received definitely made a difference when working
with the applications in our business after class. We are so happy
with the knowledge we have gained, and we recommend Victoria School of Business and Technology
to all of our friends."

"The photoshop course was great. I feel confident working with
it's many features as Jonny did a good job of covering them all.
I like how you guys tell us what we need to know and no irrelevant
things that I am used to hearing in classes. I am enjoying these
courses very much. You guys have an excellent teaching strategy and
it works."

"I thought that this class was a great learning step into the
world of graphic design.
Jonny was extremely helpful and made the class an enjoyable and easy
learning experience for me. The structure of the class and the layout
that we go by makes the class generally run smooth. Having few people
in the classroom makes a one-on-one learning program run very well.
I enjoyed this course thoroughly and have no complaints."
