Business Support
The Department of State and U.S. embassies around the world provide effective support to American businesses overseas by identifying opportunities for American firms, advocating on their behalf, and encouraging corporate responsibility.  The Office of Commercial and Business Affairs has more information in their Doing Business in International Markets website.

Overseas Security Advisory Commission (OSAC)
As attacks against the U.S. private sector overseas become more frequent, OSAC is playing a growing role in keeping American business and their employees safe and secure. OSAC, a public/private partnership, supplies a wealth of security information to its 3,200 constituents, who come from businesses, academia, nongovernment and faith-based organizations. This information allows the constituents to make informed security decisions. full story
