We are pleased to make the second of our monthly “cuttings packs” available from our website. This is a new activity designed to keep UKCIP and Defra abreast of the latest research developments in the climate change impacts and adaptation worlds, and to share this information with stakeholders. While we aim to provide good coverage of relevant research pubished in a given month, we cannot claim to have identified every relevant paper. If you spot any major omissions, or have any suggestions of journals to add to the review, please let us know.
A monthly literature search is conducted to identify relevant research on climate change science, climate change impacts and climate adaptation in response to these activities. The information is collated and summarised into a short (2-3 page) document providing the headline messages from key papers. Full references for each article included in the review are provided in a table that follows the summary. Reference details for papers of peripheral interest may also be provided in the table, but these papers are not necessarily discussed in the summary.
