| At the western end
of an elongated bay, right on the beach, you find this holiday apartment,
in a relaxed, calm and beautiful holiday home village. The rear of the building
is protected by a highly rising rock, in front there is an astonishing view over
the bay of Calahonda and the sea.
To the northeast one sees sugar cane fields
and greenhouse crops of the rich local agriculture leading up to the Sierra Contraviesa.
The holiday home is situated directly at the kilometre-long sand and pebble beach
"Playa de Carchuna". The large oval swimming pool lies
between palms and bougainvillea in the middle of the large sun terrace. All guests
may use it. The equipment of our vacation homes is comfortable and functional.
In front of the salon is the large terrace (of 10m2) with glass panels
at the sides. Despite its position on the ground floor it offers a wonderful view
to the sea.
The kitchen and dining area communicate to the salon through
an archway. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other one with
two moveable single beds. In summer opens a quiet and very nice beach bar
on the opposite of the holiday village.
Parking is about 15 meters from the
flat. The village of Carchuna is only 2 km inland. The next holiday place,
the village of Calahonda is 3 km away. There is a way to Calahonda by the beach
on a small street by the beach. At its heart is the old fishing village, still
recognisable as such. At the beach there are some nice "Chiringitos"
(typical small beach restaurants) with an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere.
The next town, Motril is 5 km away, to Granada and to the Sierra Nevada the distance
is 75 km.
