This detached holiday villa with private swimming pool and panoramic sea views is situated on a hillside in the peaceful countryside above the town of Motril.

Directly in front of CORTIJO LA ERMITA is a large south-facing terrace surrounded by lush green borders filled with tropical plants. There is plenty of garden furniture and sun loungers where guests can relax and enjoy their surroundings. This area also includes an 8 x 4 metre swimming pool, which is for the exclusive use of the guests. From the pool area there is an unrestricted view over Motril, the sea and the surrounding Sierras. There is also an outside shower and various terraces - open and shaded - on the estate.

In front of the house there is a tiled and furnished terrace complete with automated canopy. This is a very comfortable place for relaxing, eating alfresco and taking in the magnificent view. The view at night of Motril illuminated is particularly attractive and in the morning you can see the fishermen returning from sea.
Another lovely place is the roof terrace, accessed by an outside staircase. The house is divided into a living room with dining and seating area, a well-equipped open-plan kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with shower and WC.
The entire house is heated and has a glass protected fire place. There is also air conditioning, television with international channels, VCR and DVD player.

The property is 10 minutes drive from Motril, via a narrow, winding road that passes both cultivated and uncultivated land. The "CORTIJO" is refreshingly distant from the usual tourist areas and is predominantly an agricultural area. It is a completely enclosed estate with a parking area within the grounds.

Motril itself is a large town with a population of 50,000, ideal for shopping, banks or medical requirements.
Between Motril and Salobrena you will encounter some of the best beaches in the province of Granada (Playa Granada and the Playas of Salobrena). Near to the Salobrena coast, the "Los Moriscos" 9-hole golf course is also within easy reach.

The city of Granada including the world famous and spectacular Alhambra Palace has been designated a world cultural heritage site by UNESCO and is only an hour's drive away, while the exciting and challenging ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada are only a little further. Malaga airport is a mere 80 minutes drive.
