St. Louis Cardinals, Rams, Blues

Finding good seats to St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams games can be quite a chore, especially during post season play. When tickets are in high demand they’re snapped up out of the box office and turned into a hot commodity on the secondary market.

Missouri law prohibits the buying and selling of tickets at above the face value. Missouri residents can not buy tickets above the face value and ticket brokers based in Missouri can not sell tickets above the face value.

Often times finding premium seating for a game requires the use of a ticket broker. So where does that leave the majority of Cardinals and Rams fans during high demand games? Simply put, St, Louis fans are out of luck. The seats they desire are being sold by out of state ticket holders and bought by out of state fans.

What options are out there for obtaining these high demand seats? If you’re a Missouri resident and want to purchase tickets in-state legally, you’ll have to try your luck with the official box office online or wait in line onsite during post season ticket releases.

Another option is to use an out of state ticket brokering service such as Tickco.com. By using a ticket broker you can avoid waiting, often times fruitlessly, in line. Tickets are guaranteed, delivery is fast and brokers often have the best selection of seating available. To use an out of state broker you will need to have a friend or relative outside of Missouri purchase tickets for you. Remember these are ticket resellers and you will pay more than the price printed on the ticket when buying from them.

Other options include ticket resale sites such as eBay and StubHub.com. Be very weary of fraud when purchasing tickets through these sites, especially for high demand events like the Super Bowl or World Series. Always research the seller and be sure you know where to locate them if the tickets don’t come through. Missouri ticket resale laws apply to these sites as well. The seller will have to be located out of state and you will need an out of state contact to purchase these tickets for you.

If the box office fails, there are always other options to find the sweet seats. Just be sure you can physically locate the ticket seller in case of fraud and read all policies in depth before making a purchase online.
