Tag holders need to decide in advance of expiry which domain names they wish to renew on behalf of their customers and renew them by sending a renewal request to the automaton.  Domain names can be renewed up to six months before their expiry date.  When we receive a renewal request the expiry date of the domain name is wound forward two years.
