Motley Crue Artist Information
1981's "To Fast for Love" had us painting our faces, teasing our hair and screaming the lyrics to "Live Wire." 1983 saw us raising the horns and shouting at the devil; that is when we weren't playing air-guitar to the Crue's metal rendition of "Helter Skelter."
By the mid-80's some of us were lured away from hair-metal by the driving pulse and machine gun paced riffs of Metallica, but "Theatre of Pain" was always the go-to album in a romantic crunch; when we needed to swoon the occasional rocker-chick with a few bars from "Home Sweet Home."
1987 entered the flannel shirts and unkempt hair of Grunge. While some of us were feeding our addiction for faster and harder licks with the likes of Slayer and rekindling our acquaintances with first-generation punk, "Wild Side" off the "Girls, Girls, Girls" album seemed to satisfy the need for a driving rock ditty with a little thump and bump behind it.
"Kickstart My Heart" and "Dr. Feelgood" saw the boys giving it their best to bring their brand of deviance with a touch of decadence into the 90's, but ultimately the times had changed and teased hair and eccentric guitar solos gave way to Lollapalooza and the somber groaning of Alternative Rock.
In true Crue fashion, these boys didn't take the 90's lying down; unless they were passed out or busy courting with Pamela Anderson. They continued to kick out albums and experiment with different lineups, but they always held fast to their drum-banging, guitar-slinging, wild-boy brand of good ol' fashioned Rock-N-Roll. The 90's seemed to give these guys a chance to take a break from what made them so big. With time to think, regroup and recuperate, the Sultans of Sunset Strip are back in force and fully staffed!
Nikki, Tommy, Vince and Mick are displaying their style of two-wheeled, all-you-can-eat, metal mayhem the way they do best; live and on stage at venues across this great nation. The Crue is back! Don't miss your chance to catch the band that defined their genre and came back from the dead grinning. Motley Crue tickets are going fast, so reserve your seats up front early, because this is one Motley Crue stage show you don't want to miss!
