If you receive an "Invalid Verification Code" error or the email verification page is not accepting your information, please check for the following potential causes:
- Make sure that you are logged in to the correct Yahoo! account and that you are entering the correct password. This password is the same one that you regularly use to log in to your Yahoo! account. It is not the password for the email address you are trying to verify.
- If you are manually typing in your verification code, we recommend that you try copying and pasting the code from the verification email directly onto the page since some letters and numbers can look similar.

If your Yahoo! ID is not appearing when you visit the email verification page, this may indicate that the link you are trying to access has expired. Please try following the alternate steps provided in the bottom half of the verification email. These instructions contain a URL/web address that you can copy and paste into the address bar of your browser.
If you are still unable to verify your email address after following the steps above, please try requesting a new verification email and going through the process again.
