What is an Affiliate Program?
An Affiliate Program allows you to direct visitors to our products and services by placing carefully designed, targeted banner ads on your website. By placing these links on your website, you will earn 8% commission on all purchases made by visitors you refer to us.

As a result, we have a very high conversion rate. As an affiliate, you will not only be assured of a high purchase rate for referred customers, but will be offered an industry-unmatched 8% commission on all confirmed sales. A cookie-enabled tracking system will also enable you to earn commission when customers return to purchase up to 45 days after the initial referral.

Does it cost me anything to become an Affiliate?
No! Joining our Affiliate Program is absolutely free. There is no charge to apply, and there is no minimum sales requirement.

Can a web site outside the United States be an Affiliate?
Yes. We welcome affiliate partners from around the world.

I operate more than one website. Can I still be an Affiliate?
Yes. You can place our ads on multiple websites as an affiliate. You may set up a single Affiliate account with us to cover all of your websites. You can track the commission by earned each of your sites separately, and get paid with a single commission check.

How do I sign up?
Go to our Affiliate sign up page, click "Join Now" and submit your application form with Commission Junction at cj.com. You will subsequently receive an email with your Affiliate login information, as well as instructions for using our program.

How does the program work?
Our Affiliate Program allows you to make money by referring customers to our website. You do this by placing links or banners on your site. Every time you refer a customer who makes a purchase, you earn a commission at a preset percentage of generated sales revenues. Earned commission will be paid periodically by Commission Junction, which administers our affiliates program.

Is my website eligible to join as an Affiliate?
Gtahotels.com will be working with a limited number of high quality, professional sites targeting travel audiences. Anyone may submit an application, but we do reserve the right to refuse membership to a site or revoke a site's membership at any time if we deem that it contains objectionable material.

What are my responsibilities an as Affiliate?
You only have to place our linked ads on your website. We handle everything else.

How can I increase my earnings as an Affiliate?
We will provide you with the tools and support you need to maximize sales through your site. With higher sales volumes, you will also become eligible for higher commission rates.

I don't have a website. Can I still apply?
Unfortunately no. In order for us to accept you as an Affiliate, we must be able to view your website.

What if I operate more than one web site?
You can have multiple sites under a single affiliate account. You can create links specifically for each site and generate separate reports for each site. You will receive one commission check for all sites.

How do I change my account information?
Affiliates may change their information through their administrator account on the Commission Junction website (cj.com).

Will becoming an Affiliate increase traffic to my site?
Our Affiliate Program is a revenue-sharing program. It is not designed to help you increase traffic to your site; however, it can promote higher traffic by enhancing your site's content and appearance.

How do I get banners and links?
You can access our banners and links in the gtahotels.com section of the Commission Junction website (cj.com).

Where should I place the links and/or banners on my site?
You should place links or banners where they are most likely to be noticed by your visitors. Some areas you may want to consider include your home page, your navigation bar, and any other high traffic areas. The more carefully you place the ads on your website, the more likely visitors are to notice them and to make a purchase as a result.

How often should I update my banners and links?
We recommend that you update links and banners to our products frequently, as some offers are subject to expiration. We are constantly adding new promotions and offers targeting a wider range of audiences. We suggest that you experiment with different ads to find the ones that are most effective for your audience.

TRACKING, PAYMENT AND REPORTING

What is the Commission Structure?
You will earn 8% commission on sales of consumed hotel bookings generated by your website. In our industry, a booking is considered "consumed" upon check out by the hotel patron.

Do you offer Return Days?
We offer 45 return days (or look back period) for users that come through your site to research hotels, and then return directly to a Gtahotels.com site to book within seven days of the original visit.

How much can I earn?
There is no limit on how much you can earn as an Affiliate. However, your earnings are likely to be determined by such factors as your traffic volume, your placement of the ads, and the suitability of the ads for your audience.

How do I know how much commission I've earned?
Through the Commission Junction website (cj.com), you can access updated information on commissions earned, as well as other site statistics, such as impressions, click throughs, and consumed bookings.

How often do I get paid?
You will be paid monthly by Commission Junction, our program administrator, for total commission earned during the pay interval.

Do I earn commissions on my own Hotel Bookings?
Yes. When you purchase our products and services through a link on your web site, you earn the same commission on your stay that you would from a visitor's stay. It's like getting a discount on our already low hotel rates.

What about cancellations and amendments?
If a user cancels or amends his/her reservation, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited or credited accordingly for any commission earned on that transaction.

How can I monitor my sales?
You can monitor your sales as often as you like by accessing your updated site statistics on the Commission Junction website.

Who processes orders and handles customer service?
Our team of professional travel agents handles all aspects of customer service for visitors you refer to our site. All you have to do is place links and banners on your site. We do the rest!

How will you know that the orders came from my site?
All links from your site to ours contain a unique identifier, provided by Commission Junction, which recognizes visitors referred to our site by you. However, this requires that you create all of your links with the tag generator provided by Commission Junction on its website (cj.com). If you attempt to alter the code in any way, your tracking will be lost, resulting in lost commissions to you.

How often can I run reports?
You can run reports daily if you wish. Commission Junction, our reporting web site, updates reports daily with the latest statistics on your referrals and earnings.
