A major step towards enhancing international statistics


Principles Governing International Statistical Activities

The UN Statistics Division, in its mission to promote the development of the global statistical system, has made a professional commitment to adhere to a set of principles governing international statistical activities. These principles, together with the related good practices, were endorsed by the Committee for the Coordination of Statistical Activities (CCSA) which is the inter-agency coordination mechanism among the Chief Statisticians and Coordinators of statistical activities of international agencies.
