The state of MISSOURI, where the prairie meets the forest meets and the Mississippi River meets the Missouri River, has just two noteworthy cities. commanding St Louis sits halfway down its eastern border; Kansas City is almost directly across on the western fringe. The 2 cities are linked by I-70, but there's not much in between to favor stopping off.
