Q: How do your Helium rods compare to the G. Loomis rods?

From the reponses of recent Loomis converts, we have been told that our Helium rods are much like the IMX and GLX models.
"More sensitive" and "More durable" these are examples of what experienced anglers are saying about all of our rods.
We have weight tested our Helium rods against the GLX models and
noticed a dramatic weight difference between alike styles. Believe it
or not, the Helium was much lighter.
The strength of our rods is absolutely amazing when you consider how
light the rod feels in your hand. Thousands of anglers have been
counting on their Kistler Rods to get their fish to the boat and have
been very pleased with their results.

Q: I have read you Warranty Policy, but what does your warranty really mean?
A: Let us start by explaining a few points of interest….
Kistler Rods is not in business to sell an unconditional warranty. We are selling an innovative, high performance fishing tool. Our rods have been engineered to offer something never seen before in our graphite materials. With our rods, the ultimate in sensitivity and feel are now available to anglers by reducing the overall weight of the rod. While providing you with a near weightless rod, you are now able to feel more strikes and fish all day long without fatigue.
By no means are we trying to produce rods that are indestructible. If we did, then we would be just like all the other rod manufacturers today producing rods that have less feel and weigh more just for the purpose of holding up to abuse. We feel that there are many fishermen in the world that treat their rod with care and have no problems with breaking rods. These same fishermen are experiencing the tremendous benefit to using the lightest rods on the market today. Our Helium and Magnesium rods are by far the right choice for if you are looking for the finest fishing tool available to mankind.
If you decide to try one of our rods out and ever have a warranty issue, we will stand behind our product 100% by being fair with you our customer. We want you to know where we stand in regards to our warranty policy up front so there are no surprises down the road.
If you ever have a problem with any component on your rod at all, we will fix it for FREE.
If the graphite blank ever breaks, we will asses the situation case by case. Examples:
- Newer rod-clean break = No Hassle FREE Replacement
- Well used rod with clean break = No Hassle $35 Deductible=Replacement
- Old rod or questionable break = Throw it in the trash and purchase a new one just as you would any other product.

Q: Can I get a Customized rod made from one of your existing models such as a longer handle, extra guides or even a casting model made into a spinning rod? How much would it cost to have this done?
A: Yes, we can customize any of our rods to meet your demands or we can create a rod from scratch if you prefer.
The cost ranges from $25 to $50 extra depending on what you want to have done.
We can also have your rod Personally Engraved for only $10.00.
