BUOY 10 FISHING - COLUMBIA
Chinook Salmon

Christian Witt is an expert at fishing the Buoy 10 Salmon fishery. HUGE numbers of Chinook (King) and Silver (Coho) Salmon travel up the Columbia River every year from the Pacific Ocean through the mouth of the Columbia and past Astoria on their way upstream, and the one thing they all have in common is they all spend tide changes in the rip of the waters at Buoy Ten. The Columbia River Fishing Guide can put you smack in the middle of these annual runs during prime time and get limits of Salmon long before lunch (or dinner, depending on when you depart)! Call Christian today and he will hold a spot for you but hurry because the best guides in this popular Salmon fishery run out of open spaces early in the season.

Buoy 10 Salmon

We fish the Columbia River and its tributaries all the way from the Bonneville dam to Buoy 10 near Astoria Oregon where the Columbia flows into the Pacific Ocean. The Buoy Ten fishery is one of the hottest spots for catching Salmon anywhere in the World! We catch keeper Sturgeon and trophy Sturgeon from 42' to 60' long. Fishing for Coho Salmon, Silvers, Chinook Salmon and Fall Chinook and the hard fighting Steelhead during peak times of the year can really produce some hot action so book your trip early for the best times.

We can accommodate the elderly and handicapped.

We work with other local guides, so if you need a last minute booking, we'll find a pro guide for you, with an opening.
