Ice Fishing
Ice Fishing, some people love it, some hate it!
I think there are two reasons for someone to dislike Ice Fishing:
- They hate the cold - get an Ice Fishing Shelter or Ice Fishing House.
- They don't catch fish - try some of the tips and tricks described here at Camping and Fishing 101 and that may change.
I myself love ice fishing and during the winter months I frequently visit my favorite ice fishing holes. I find fish school together more during the ice fishing season in areas that provide oxygen and food and when you find these locations you should take note of the similarities of each fishing hole during the winter months.
Ice fishing is a great way to spend the day if you are prepared with some knowledge and have the right mixture of fishing lures, line and fishing equipment, and always keep safety in mind when ice fishing. Know the right survival gear to have with you and what to do in the case of an emergence.
