Cots

Cots are a good idea when sleeping in a tent, on a flat surface you can feel like you are at home on the couch, some cots fold up and take up next to no space, some have cushions. Cots are a good alternative to sleeping on the floor of a tent, you are up from the damp ground, and it is soft.

You can get a simple cot made up of polyester fabric materials with a metal frame and at a very low price. Flip side, you can get a queen size cot with a PVC airbed, it’s a bed away from home.

I really recommend a cot for each person in a tent your body will thank you in the morning.

Sleeping Cot images - Camping and Fishing 101You can expect to pay anywhere from 20.00 to 140.00 for a Cot.

Things to look for when buying a Cot are:

  • Type of leg construction
  • Folding and Space requirements
  • Bed surface material
  • Size – Width and Height
