Frenchtown New Jersey is a small historic village nestled in a scenic valley on the upper Delaware River.
Frenchtown is half way between New York City and Philadelphia.
Our tiny rural community, has a cosmopolitan style and spirit that belies it's size. We are home to a surprising number of artists, actors, musicians, antique dealers, and chefs.
Frenchtown New Jersey is the New Hope of the 21st century.
Our name "French Town" comes from the man that immigrated here in 1794 from Paris at the time of the French Revolution. His name was Paul Henri Mallet-Prevost.
Frenchtown is a community that respects it's small size, it's beauty, it's architecture, it's culture, and it's past. It is those qualities that made all of us locals move
here.
Frenchtowner.com is a visitors guide and a community website. It was started to tell the world about our wonderful little spot on the
globe and to make our community stronger through better communication.
Our Calendar of Events includes both community and regional events for local residents and visitors.
Our Blog and News features news and commentary from Frenchtown, Western Hunterdon County, Eastern and Upper Bucks
County, the Delaware Valley, and the Skylands Region of New Jersey.
Our Community Forum encourages discourse between all segments of our community; from artists to politicians to long time
residents.
The Frenchtown Business and Professional Association is a proud sponsor of our site with funding from the
Skylands of New Jersey Tourism Council and the New Jersey Commerce, Economic Growth and Tourism
Commission, Office of Travel and Tourism.
Frenchtowner.com is proud of NJ.
