At Deep Creek, you will be launched by a tractor into the surf of Cook Inlet. This is a unique experience you will remember for years. We fish according to the tides therefore the time of departure changes each day. Each trip is 6-8 hrs. This allows you to fish through a full tide.

Alaska Halibut Fishing dosent get any better than this. Alaska Halibut Fishing from Deep Creek. 250 lb BARN DOOR

We fish only one group each day, unlike many others who do "doubles". We want to give your group our full attention, time and energy. We don't want you to feel rushed or hurried along. This is your day to enjoy! Halibut in Cook Inlet average 25-40 lbs. And it is not uncommon to find those big mammas in the 100-300 lb. range! Alaska fishing regulations allow each fisherman 2 halibut a day and 1 king salmon a day. Because we only take one Alaska halibut fishing charter a day we are in no hurry to fill your bag limit. We want you to have a chance to catch a big halibut or salmon if that is what you are looking for. With this in mind, you have the option of releasing any halibut or salmon you desire, hoping for that big one. If you aren't looking for that "barn door", and would rather be busy reeling, most days you will have a lot of action. 99% of our Alaska halibut fishing charters fill their bag limits with halibut and come home with tasty fish! Occasionally, while fishing for halibut we catch king salmon (Chinook) and silver salmon (Co ho). This is always a nice treat! In order to reach these Alaska halibut grounds you will be riding in our 26 ft. Koffler with an enclosed cabin. Our cabin is heated and has a Portia-Potti on board for your comfort. It is equipped with the finest electronics and powered by twin Yamaha four stroke engines, for safety and reliability. The fishing deck is roomy and comfortable with quality rod holders to make your day relaxing and enjoyable. You will be fishing with top quality rods, reels and tackle. We bring along the best bait to attract those halibut to the boat. We know that quality gear and equipment lead to a quality day! With the assistance of your experienced and qualified Alaskan captain and crew you will be catching fish in no time. John, your Alaska halibut Captain and his deckhand will be ready to help in any way possible to land that fish of a lifetime. So whether you are an experienced halibut fisherman or this is your first time on the water, you can count on success!
