Programs for Educators

AmeriSpan offers a variety of programs for current and future educators.  These programs include: MAESTRO, our signature program, for Spanish and non-Spanish teachers, Yucatan Spanish Institute, Teacher training courses (coming soon) and TEFL training courses (coming soon).  As new program information becomes available, our website will be updated.

  
MAESTRO Spanish Programs for Educators are specially designed to meet the needs of K-12 and other educators. AmeriSpan offers different types MAESTRO programs including:

• MAESTRO for Non-Spanish teachers - In addition to a language immersion experience, these programs focus on Latin American educational systems and the relationships/expectations among teachers, students and parents to better understand Spanish-speaking LEP students attending schools in the USA. • MAESTRO for Spanish teachers - These programs may include advanced Spanish classes, and always include special topic workshops and discussions on many different aspects of teaching and learning Spanish as a second language so that you may improve your Spanish classroom.  Click here for more info.

• MAESTRO Customized Group Programs - If you have a group of 5 people or more, we'll customize a MAESTRO program for you. This way, you'll be able to pick: the dates; the length of the program; the destination; and the emphasis of the program.
