Chalerm Rattanakosin National Park
This interesting attraction is 97 kilometres from Kanchanaburi town, and north of Bo Phloi District, along Highway 3086. This 54-square-kilometre park encompasses peaceful forests, waterfalls and several caves. The 300-metre long Than Lod Noi Cave near the park headquarters is the most popular attraction, and some 2.5 kilometres walk to Than Lod Yai. Than Ngoen, Than Thong and Trai Trueng waterfalls are in the area of the park. 

The park , also called Tham Than Lod by locals, was set up in 1980 in Kanchanaburi province. The area is of limestone formation and the highest peak in the park being Khao Kamphaeng at 1260 meters. Tropical broad leafed evergreen forest dominates the areas. The park may have small population of mammals such as elephants, black bears, gibbons, deer, guars, etc. Some believe that a few of the big cats may still exist in the areas. There are very spectacular caves and waterfalls in the park.
